Porcelain veneers

Porcelain veneers are thin shells that are bonded to the front of your teeth to provide a bright, sparkling and attractive smile. Made of an extremely durable, translucent material with texture similar to tooth enamel, they are a long-lasting cosmetic solution. Because of the durability of the material they're made of, veneers are not susceptible to decay and generally resist heavy staining. Porcelain veneers are increasingly popular because they are very thin; as a result, only minimal grinding of the original tooth needs to be carried out as compared to getting caps. Veneers can take up to three sittings, including the initial exam, preparation of the teeth and the final bonding.
